Ingénieur de projet MAD / Project engineer, MAD systems

Role and Responsibilities

(English will follow)

  • Préparer, planifier, coordonner et surveiller les projets d'ingénierie attribués.
    • Élaborer et assurer le suivi des exigences en ressources des projets d'ingénierie attribués.
    • Gérer et assurer le suivi du travail de plusieurs sous-familles, dont la fabrication, pour livrer un système global conformément à un calendrier et à un budget convenus.
  • Se charger de l'élaboration et de la mise en œuvre des plans de gestion de la configuration.
  • Veiller à ce que les politiques et les procédures soient respectées, travailler avec les participants du projet et le gestionnaire de risques de MAD afin d'anticiper et de préparer des plans d'atténuation du risque technique.
  • Passer en revue le risque technique et obtenir l'approbation du chef de projet sur les plans d'atténuation du risque technique. Collaborer étroitement avec le chef du projet pour contrôler le budget et atténuer les risques liés au budget, au calendrier et au projet.
  • Surveiller la conformité aux politiques de QA/QC de MAD, aux normes relatives au rendement et aux spécifications.
  • En coopération avec les architectes de système, mener des révisions d'ingénierie et diriger les rencontres de CCB.
  • Passer en revue les produits d'ingénierie livrables et entreprendre les mesures correctives appropriées.
  • Rendre compte régulièrement au chef de projet de l'état du projet.
  • Coopérer et communiquer efficacement avec le chef de projet et d'autres participants au projet pour offrir de l'assistance et du soutien technique.
  • Interagir de la manière requise avec les clients afin d'interpréter leurs besoins et leurs exigences et de les représenter sur le terrain

Compétences

  • Baccalauréat en ingénierie ou dans un domaine pertinent avec le poste
  • Trois ans ou plus d'expérience de travail comme ingénieur de projets ou dans un poste de direction
  • Compétences avancées avec Microsoft Office
  • Expérience avec JIRA, un atout
  • Connaissance des règles, des règlements, des pratiques exemplaires et des normes relatives au rendement, un atout
  • Capacité à travailler sur des projets multidisciplinaires
  • Connaissance de l'installation de fabrication et du flux de travail, un atout
  • Compétences en gestion de projets et en supervision
  • Aptitude à prendre des décisions et en leadership
  • Compétences en gestion de temps et en organisation

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
    • Develop and monitor resource requirements for the assigned engineering projects
    • Manage and track the work of multiple sub-families, including manufacturing, to deliver an overall system according to an agreed schedule and budget
  • Responsible for development and implementation of configuration management plans
  • Ensure risk policies and procedures are applied, work with the project participants and MAD risk manager to anticipate and prepare technical risk mitigation plans
  • Review technical risk and obtain PM approval for technical risk mitigation plans. Work actively with the PM to control the budget and to mitigate budget, schedule, and other project risks.
  • Monitor compliance to MAD QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • In cooperation with the system architects, conduct engineering reviews and lead CCB meetings
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
  • Report regularly on project status to the PM
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Interact as required with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or relevant field
  • 3+ years Proven working experience as a project engineer or in a leadership role
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Experience with JIRA would be an asset
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards would be an asset
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
  • Familiarity with manufacturing setup and work flows would be an asset
  • Project management and supervision skills
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills
  • Time management and organization skills
