Inside Sales Coordinator At BURNCO Rock Products Ltd.

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

Job Description

This role is responsible for the timely preparation of bids and project quotes relating to customer requirements

  • Respond to customer RFP requests, quoting projects, working with outside sales representatives to review bid documents within a predetermined pricing schedule
  • Liaise with customer to provide them with bid information and follow up on their decision
  • Create and maintain project data within the Command system, ensuring accuracy and working with the dispatch team to amend project details as necessary
  • Maintain customer information, bid details and project files within the system to ensure accurate tracking of backlog information
Work proactively in investigating new leads, prepping and reviewing information for outside sales reps to pursue

Requirements

  • Previous customer facing experience, working to deadlines and able to manage conflicting priorities
  • Pro-active approach when dealing with customers, takes a solution-oriented approach to problem solving and a desire to find value add solutions for internal and external clients
  • Methodical, organized work style with great attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly reporting functions in Excel
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a customer facing role
High School diploma
