JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will play a vital role in the ongoing growth of the company by running key office functions including bookkeeping, basic accounting and office administration. The successful candidate will work out of a unique, historic coach house in the downtown west-end, steps from vibrant Ossington Avenue and Queen St. West.

REQUIRED SKILLS

o High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel: managing spreadsheets, sorting data, creating sales reports, use of arithmetic functions and formulas

o High level of proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting software such as Sage 50

o High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, including document formatting

o Comfort working with PDF files and forms

o Comfort working with (or learning) MailChimp for customer database management, and marketing purposes

o Comfort using online forms, web applications, email attachments, internet searches o Knowledge of standard protocols for protecting customer and supplier personal information o Candidate must also have very strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of French (written and spoken) a major asset, Italian/Spanish also useful.
