Senior Growth Analyst - MTL At Breather

Location: Montréal, Quebec

The Role

The Growth Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing & sales team in understanding the impact of different marketing & sales strategies, determining the combined impact of our acquisition & retention activities, and driving demand generation strategy.

On a day-to-day basis, you will work with stakeholders on a variety of teams to convert business questions and high level data collection needs into well-specified analytics requirements. On one hand, this will require close collaboration with product managers, business users, and data scientists, all of whom have questions and data needs that demand new approaches to data collection and documentation. It also means working hand-in-hand with the engineering & sales operation teams to ensure that data collection requirements are well-specified, properly implemented and activities are appropriately logged.

You'll be joining the Business Intelligence Team, whos primary focus is to support informed decision making throughout the company. We facilitate this by developing and maintaining the companys central data warehouse, ensuring high data quality, building reports, dashboards & conducting analyses on warehoused data.

At Breather you will:
Work with Marketing & Sales teams to deliver scheduled and ad-hoc reporting

Work with the Product and Engineering teams to convert questions and data collection needs into well-specified analytics requirements

Monitor marketing & sales KPIs and be the first point of contact in understanding the drivers behind each KPI

Contextualize data & reports with insights to support strategic decision making

Create & maintain dashboards to monitor departmental and company performance

Own analyses from beginning to end. Maintain the analytic data infrastructure & documentation. Collaborate with data engineers to update the data pipeline

Clearly explain complex analyses and actionable results to non-technical users

Requirements:
4+ years of experience working in an analytical role.

2+ years working in a (B2B) sales-driven organization.

Proficiency in Excel & SQL (Postgresql preferred)

Experience developing reports & dashboards in BI reporting tools such Looker, Tableau, or other

Inquisitive and analytical mindset

Ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights

Assets

Bachelors (or Higher) in Finance, Marketing, Math, Computer Science or Physical Sciences

2+ years analyzing Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) data

Programming & Scripting skills for data science in Python or R

Knowledge of relational, NoSQL and dimensional data modeling

Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools

Experience building attribution models & demand prediction models
