The Boys and Girls Clubs of Williams Lake is looking for an
Executive Director .
The Boys and Girls Club of Williams Lake and District (BGCWL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality programs and services to the children, youth, and families of Williams Lake.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the successful leadership and management of BGCWL according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors.
The Executive Director will be responsible for leading the Club in the areas of fund development, human resources, financial and risk management, administration, programing, operations, communications, and community and stakeholder relations.

Post-Secondary degree in a related field and/or 5 years of related experience.
Experienced professional with demonstrated business management, proven leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor at all levels.
Knowledge of leadership and management principles
Knowledge of all federal and provincial legislation applicable to non-profit/voluntary sector organizations including: employment standards, human rights, occupational health and safety, charities, taxation, CPP, EI, health coverage etc.
Knowledge of current community challenges and opportunities relating to the mission of the organization and ability to coordinate with community partners to further said mission.

Must be willing to work flexible hours to meet demands
Physical abilities to perform the duties of this position.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
This is a full-time position with some weekend and evening activities required.
