Job Description

Bow Valley College is Alberta’s largest comprehensive community college. From humble beginnings more than 50 years ago, they now serve over 15,000 learners annually with locations throughout Southern Alberta, including three state-of-the-art campuses in downtown Calgary and seven additional regional campuses.

Reporting to the Vice President, External, and as a member of the senior leadership team, the Director is responsible for the development of Bow Valley College’s marketing and communications strategy and will contribute to Bow Valley College’s organizational strategic operations.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in a relevant area of study along with 5 to 10 years of experience in managing comprehensive strategic marketing and communications plans. You will bring strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to gain the confidence and respect of external stakeholders, College leaders, faculty and staff members. You will have the ability to influence the organization at various levels and build consensus towards achieving the vision and goals of the College.
