Industrial Regional Sales Manager Western Canada At Bosch Group

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Job Description

Job location: Major city in Western Canada within close proximity of International airport.

  • Meet or exceed the revenue targets set by the National Sales Manager (NSM) (all tool brands)
  • Form strategies and plans for the prescribed accounts, as discussed with the NSM
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the sales force, implementing the agreed strategies, quotas, policies, ethos and culture of the division
  • Counsel, advise, support and motivate the team through dialogue and written communication
  • Assist in the recruitment, selection, motivation and training of Area Sales Managers
  • Review and observe the weekly call planning and reports, checking for synergy in plan vs. actual call cycles
  • Identify, document and manage the issues of competitor’s threats and trends and take action to offset those threats in a timely and diligent manner

Qualifications


  • Completed Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of the multi-level distribution flow and intricacies of the customers involved
  • 5 to 7 years experience in managing, motivating, and developing a professional sales team with a proven track record of success
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution of national sales strategies
  • Active participant of change management, continuous improvements and best practices execution and development
  • Knowledge of the power tool, accessory and hardware industry is an asset
  • Strong computer skills: Excel, Powerpoint and Word. SAP/CRM experience an asset
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout Western Canada (approximately 50%)
