The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for the success of a portfolio of new and existing customers, which includes everything from overseeing onboarding through long-term retention. With customers ranging from small technology providers to large banking partners, the AM ensures we have structured plans in place for each customer and then measures, orchestrates, and improves customer engagement and happiness over time.
The AM will act as an internal advocate for our clients and will work across all business teams to understand and address our clients' operational needs as well as identify new expansion opportunities for Boomtown products and services. The AM will work closely with Sales and Business Development to develop a strong understanding of our clients business goals, their key performance metrics and how Boomtown can support the achievement of their strategic objectives.
Responsible for the engagement, support and retention of a portfolio of Boomtown s clients
Act as a liaison between internal teams to ensure critical client needs are being met; coordinate with Service Operations to ensure quality and consistent service delivery and work with Sales and Business Development to ensure account plans are realized
Forecast and track key client performance metrics, including product and service usage, revenue, margin and customer satisfaction
Pinpoint and resolve critical client issues as they arise and work across internal teams to ensure they are addressed with scalable long-term solutions
Oversee client reporting and communication initiatives
Oversee customer health metrics across all accounts to identify areas for improvement as well as upsell opportunities
Skills & Experience:
BS or BA from a top school
3+ years of professional experience in customer success or account management
Empathetic and customer-centric orientation
Highly analytical and data-driven with a focus on using data to improve customer satisfaction
Operational mindset focused on systems and process improvements
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Executive presence with a high degree of comfort in presenting to senior stakeholders, both internal and external
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
