Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

Applies knowledge of policies, procedures and regulations (e.g. export compliance, intellectual property agreements, etc.) and standard best practices to deliver information or technical materials to Boeing employees. This includes:
  • Communication Plans – Support Communication department with their plans and acts as a liaison between functions and communications.
  • Executive Team Information Support – Building communication packages for executive team and functional department projects; run and facilitate operational/sensitive meetings for executive team.
  • Export Compliance/Intellectual Property – Enable supported departments to adhere to Export/Import & Intellectual Property policy by coordinating closely with site Export/Import & Intellectual Property Management subject matter expert.
  • Standard Template Process –Leads business support team members to identify opportunities for standardization; uses established standard methods in creating presentation communications; ensures presentation content is applicable for use within Boeing Enterprises throughout the company.
With limited supervision, participates with organizational leaders in the development and implementation of plans and objectives (e.g. long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives) to meet requirements. This includes:
  • Work with functional leadership to develop, implement and communicate annual priorities.
  • Partner closely with Business Operations strategy leader to develop the appropriate priorities structure for their assigned function, with a goal of creating standardization of priorities between functions.
With limited supervision, assembles data from multiple sources using applicable schedules. Gathers data from multiple sources to compile or create a variety of complex reports (e.g. periodic reviews, audit responses, budget and capital planning metrics) for management reviews and tracking performance to plan. Researches and evaluates organizational administrative issues, identifies options and recommends solutions to customers. This includes:
  • Data Management – Create and support rudimentary databases. Analyze data at higher levels to identify trends and potential for deeper investigation through more formal data analytics. Supply recommendations of actions and areas of concern to assigned department and functional leader.
  • Product Support Team – A resource for Product Support Team to help with metrics generation, upkeep and interpretation, with a focus to help identify where items may need attention before they become issues.
  • Key Message Report (Metrics) – Responsible to gather, gain consensus and provide monthly/quarterly data to Business Operations that is meaningful and helps with trend recognition/reporting. Also includes department specific scorecard vetting, verifying, trend analysis and updating/ownership of data.
With limited supervision, gathers customer requirements for projects and ensures goals are aligned with company and organization objectives. Develops and maintains the project schedule and budget; monitors and tracks execution of the plan and communicates status to all project participants. This includes:
  • Creating and updating locally supported, non-cross functional, project plans for supporting various initiatives.

Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities

With limited supervision, develops, coordinates and continuously assesses overall meeting/review architecture to ensure that visibility is provided on appropriate and required information. Works with leadership to determine the purpose and content of each meeting/review; coordinates and develops executive level briefings and utilizes appropriate technologies to enable global interaction/collaboration. This includes:
  • Management Information System Meeting Cadence – Develop, maintain and implement meeting cadence for recurring and Special Attention Meetings that support site and Executive Team MIS requirements. Includes taking and following up on action items and managing meeting invitees, agendas and pace.
  • Site Risk Management – Help develop Risk Issues and Opportunities for department with Subject Matter Experts, build plans and update plans in Boeing risk, issues, opportunity management system.
  • Integrated Plan – Maintain integrated plans for function.
  • Visit/Event Management – Provides design logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events. Meets with key decision-makers to develop, coordinate and assess architecture of meeting content and leadership briefings. Coordinates and develops executive level briefings.
Consults on and performs a variety of support services and serves as representative/spokesperson for the organization. This includes:
  • Digital File Structure/Organization (Document Control) – Create and develop digital structure and organization for their respective function.
  • Website Management – Leads the oversight for the website design (look and feel) and content determination, including coordination with business support team member for website maintenance/updates.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and typically 5 of more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 3 years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination or education and experience.
  • Business, Data Analytics, Engineering or Technologist related degree/diploma is an asset.
  • Project Management Certificate or CAPM would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to, and experience in, creating project schedules and supporting project scheduled implementation.
  • Good to excellent computer skills with MS Project, Excel (for deriving data analysis), PowerPoint, Access.
  • Knowledge of budgetary management principles and practices.
  • Experience and ability to influence personnel throughout various functions and levels of business.
