Business Development Representative At BOARD International

Location: Los Angeles, California

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a hard-working individual with sound business acumen, technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join our Americas team as a Business Development Representative. The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for finding, qualifying, and nurturing sales prospects. The successful BDR will generate new leads through inbound and outbound marketing initiatives, book demonstrations for the sales team, and assist in the sales process as needed.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and articulate the Business Intelligence and Corporate Performance Management capabilities of BOARD and our value proposition
  • Contact senior decision makers within target organizations via phone and email to generate new leads, and book meetings for the sales team
  • Develop target lists for outreach based on sales territories and industry verticals
  • Develop and maintain library of scripts and emails to be sent to prospects
  • Follow up with and further qualify leads assigned by the marketing team
  • Maintain complete and accurate records for all prospecting activity in Salesforce

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA in relevant field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • A basic understanding of the BI and CPM industry
  • Microsoft Office expertise
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and under pressure
