The Marketing Services Group is looking for a talented, seasoned, and personable Senior Graphic Designer to design and manage a wide range of printed and electronic deliverables including sales kits, brochures, advertisements, conference invitations, conference kits and on-site material, presentations, newsletters, forms, web banners, HTML e-mails, and Flash media. This person will work closely with internal marketing managers and clients to create and update our marketing materials, and generate and present design concepts that accurately portray the Pershing brand. This person will coordinate the production of materials; generate production specifications, vendor selection, and supervise press runs. They will work closely with internal clients as well as production vendors to identify the most cost-effective means of producing each piece without compromising quality.
Good oral presentation skills are a must since this position will require frequent client interaction. In addition, this candidate must also possess a strong technical background with respect to the hardware and software (computers and in-house printers) that designers use. The self-motivated individual must have a very strong sense of detail, be very creative and organized, and have the ability to reprioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong project management skills required. Candidate must have extensive experience working on the Macintosh, and using QuarkXPress, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat. Image Ready, Flash and After Effects experience a big plus. The position also requires extensive experience generating production specifications, and managing the production process from start to finish. The graphic designer must have the ability to take initiative and work independently on the projects assigned to them. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years industry design experience. A four-year college bachelor s degree is preferred.
