We are pleased to offer a 12 weeks Summer Internship starting in May/June 2019 at BMW Technology Corporation in Chicago, IL.
The Visual Design Intern will contribute to multidisciplinary teams and work collaboratively to deliver creative solutions to challenging problems in the dynamic and changing car/connected industry. The ideal candidate has experience in designing for mobile application, prototyping, in addition to being comfortable communicating a point of view. Sample of Portfolio is required.The Visual Design Intern will work closely and collaborate the product team to build the ideal experience. This position requires you to be self-motivated and jump right in.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Designing for Mobile (primarily), In-car, web.
Contribute to all stages of design process including: research, prototyping, usability testing, and implementation.
Leverage strong brand guidelines.

Pursuing B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent; target graduation date in December 2019 or May 2020.
Provide a strong set of work samples that highlight an attention to detail and craft
Proficiency in current mobile technologies.
Indicate a positive, self-motivated disposition.
Show an inclination to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Technology experience & aptitude.
High energy, a passion for software and ability to work in a highly collaborative agile environment
