Marketing Manager, Specialized Sales Force Marketing At BMO Financial Group

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

The Lending Marketing team is responsible for driving profitable customer acquisition and growth strategies for a suit of lending products, including Mortgages and Line of Credits through Online, Branch and Specialized Sales Force channels.

In this role, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving lending business growth in the Specialized Sales Channel through the development of channel specific marketing strategies and their flawless execution. In particular, the focus of this role will be building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and partners, capitalizing on the growth opportunities through leads and referral programs, as well as overseeing the development of marketing support material ensuring they meet brand, legal and compliance requirements.

Key Accountabilities

Marketing Strategies and Implementation– 50%
  • Drive development and marketing strategies maximize the awareness of BMO Specialized Sales
  • Drive development and implementation of marketing strategies maximizing salesforce sales through online leads generation
  • Drive development and implementation of third party referral / loyalty programs
  • Manage day-to-day requirements to deliver campaigns, including planning/delivery, creative briefs, copywriting, stakeholder reviews/approvals, translation, launch fulfillment
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives for continual optimization
Relationship Management – 30%
  • Be a credible voice of marketing
  • Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with internal cross functional partners and stakeholders
  • Influence across multiple organizational levels to get things done
Project Management – 10%
  • Manage multiple projects on time and budget
Risk Management & Control – 10%
  • Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure consumer-facing materials are compliant with current rules and regulations.

Qualifications

Knowledge:
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills are a must as you will build and nurture strong relationships with multiple stakeholders to drive organizational buy in into strategies/ tactics and ensure projects are completed on time with maximum effectiveness
  • Experience in developing strategies and managing marketing initiatives and campaigns from concept to execution, typically gained from 5+ years of experience in a marketing, communications, or project management role
  • Experience in digital marketing, including website management & optimization; search engine marketing; digital display media advertising; content and social media marketing
  • Experience working with a variety of marketing disciplines, including digital, direct, analytics, promotional, experiential or event-based, advertising, merchandising, and market research
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, commerce, or a related discipline

  • Well-developed project management skills, including the ability to effectively manage ambiguity and solve problems creatively
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with an emphasis on presentation development skills.
  • Superior time management and multi-tasking skills – must be able to manage high work volumes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to identify relevant information and define root issues maintaining a high standard of executional excellence and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, and collaboratively with teams that have diverse skills, knowledge, and educational backgrounds
  • Numerate and comfortable with financial calculations
