Marketing Coordinator, Banking Experience Marketing At BMO Financial Group

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

This marketing position is located in Toronto and is primarily responsible for branch, merchandising and ATM experience marketing and campaign delivery:
  • Banking experience BAU program delivery: working in partnership with product marketing managers to manage and optimize the branch & ATM ‘in the channel’ marketing experience and delivery:
    • Asset calendar scheduling & management
    • Content execution and choreography
    • Vendor management & oversight
    • Problem resolution
  • Branch Change & Performance program: campaign delivery for new and relocated branches, as well as associated services, helping the bank achieve its financial and customer growth objectives
  • ATM Channel Marketing: delivery of ATM Channel campaigns to drive adoption, utilization and transformation of the ATM Channel
Primary Focus: Responsible for executing on the CA Branch Merchandising program & CA Physical Channels (Branch & ATM) marketing plans & programs
CA "Merchandising" Duties:
  • Day to Day CA digital merchandising and distribution vendor oversight & ongoing management
  • Continue to establish key partnership relationships with our vendors to ensure we are leveraging their innovation and industry trends
  • Partner with CA LOB Marketers daily to ensure optimal use of merchandising assets & best practices
  • Serve as Project, Production and Logistics Manager on delivery of branch & ATM merchandising, campaigns and strategic projects - leveraging a best practices PM approach & process; ensure strict oversight over project budgets and SOWs
  • Develops and executes monthly CA Merchandising Guide and update merch site (ensuring P&C CA Central up to date; building branch tools and communications to assist w/ in branch compliance)
  • Manage CA Merchandising Asset Calendar; management; socialization - escalation of calendar conflicts
  • Manages and updates templated merchandising content
  • CA Branch milestones - review and approval of standard merchandising floor plans and vendor execution oversight, collaboration with CRE, testing & execution; participate on CRE working streams as needed
  • CA merchandising monthly budget tracking and daily invoice processing
  • Proactive management & "choreography" of content library and playlist optimization for CA digital screens and ATMs
  • Implementation and tracking of new Enterprise-wide Branch Merchandising Guidelines
  • Develop CA vendor performance scorecard and SLA measurements; establish quarterly business review meetings and agenda
  • Execute merchandising processes that drive team efficiencies and support the transformation of internal processes to deliver better results more efficiently
  • Re-engineer internal merchandising processes to increase our speed to market
  • Partner with CA LOB marketers on design and execution of store-front merchandising 'best practices'
  • Partner with CA print production & distribution vendors (Data &PPFD) to ensure seamless delivery of static merchandising assets to branches
  • Develop merchandising 'best practice' road show and host monthly lunch & learn events for LOB marketers
  • Partner with CA vendor to execute on merchandising platform and technology upgrades (connectivity, media players, screen replacements) as needed
  • Monitor daily CA Branch Merchandising mailbox and facilitate branch requests
  • Partner with and support Physical Channel Marketers to execute on CA marketing program strategy & plans:
  • Execute marketing campaigns for CA Branch Change & Performance program that drives new to BMO households and drives channel adoption and engagement
  • Work with media agencies to develop media plans to support new and relocated branches go to market plans
  • In parternship with Physical Channels Marketer, liaison with LOB partners to deliver day to day marketing programs in line with key business objectives
  • Execute on CA ATM Channel campaigns
  • Collaborate with CA My Marketing shop program manager to develop templated campaign content and operationalize key programs
  • Partner with US counterparts to find best practices to integrate N/S programs
  • Facilitate/review customer change management communications for CA branch and ATM optimization (closures, relos, etc)
  • Liase with Branch Change & Performance Business Development Officer to execute on local activation events
  • Attend CA branch soft and grand opening events –where applicable

Knowledge/Skills
  • Superior time management and multi-tasking skills – must be able to manage high work volumes while maintaining a high standard of executional excellence and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to identify relevant information and define root issues.
  • Superior relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to consult, influence, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across levels of seniority and business groups
  • Numerate and comfortable with financial calculations and building cases
  • Commitment to excellence in execution with keen attention to detail
  • Results-oriented, driven and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently, and collaboratively with teams that have diverse skills, knowledge, and educational backgrounds
