The Toronto, Canada site is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive product-focused development processes at the company. The incumbent will provide critical guidance and support at the Program Management and Project Management levels to efficiently implement BlueRock’s Product Development Process. Responsibilities include maintaining high-level Program plans and reporting status to senior staff, while also providing Project-level support to technical leads.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Analyze Program and Project schedules to identify potential challenges in meeting objectives
o Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
o Establish and maintain program-level plans to enable rapid status reporting to senior staff
o Analyze and report on interdependencies and resource constraints of project plans to overall program plans
o Communicate impact and changes to program scope, program schedule(s), and program costs
o Aid in the formalization of Program Management processes to facilitate decision-making and related formal documentation
o Assist in the training of BlueRock employees in basic Project Management principles and practice
Bachelors or Masters degree in biology, biomedical engineering, or a closely related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management
Proficiency with multiple project management tools
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A proven ability to be highly productive and successful in a high pace work environment with excellent attention to detail
Cooperating with a larger team, must be able to solve a wide range of complex problems in creative and practical ways
Competency in computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Candidate will be working in office and controlled laboratory environments
Formal training in project management (e.g. diploma/certificate) considered a strong asset
