Position available – Full Stack Developer
Who are we?
Bluenove is an open innovation consulting and software development firm with activities in open
data, collective intelligence, social innovation and corporate innovation. Our offices are based in
Montréal and Paris.
Assembl is an open source software project (GitHub) and is being developed to enable large-‐scale
discussions online. Moving away from the shallow interactions facilitated by traditional social
media channels, Assembl facilitates deep, complex discussions. Think large-‐scale discussions
about writing a European Constitution, or a discussion around product innovation with the entire
staff of a large multinational company. This is fairly uncharted territory so be prepared to think
creatively, and deal with a multitude of unconventional puzzles.
Who are we looking for?
The project is in the launch phase. This means you will have the opportunity to influence the
direction that we are headed in. In addition to providing input on a variety of development
decisions, you will be responsible for the development of the API connections between Assembl
and existing social networks and internal company chat systems (Jabber, Jive, Yammer, etc.).
We need a motivated, independent worker who isn’t afraid of new challenges. The project is
being implemented with several international partners so the ability to collaborate with others
remotely and across different time zones is required.
