Digital Marketing Specialist At Blind Ferret

Location: Montréal, Quebec

Job Description

Blind Ferret is a Montreal-based digital agency dedicated to its’ list of growing clients. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the candidate will play an essential role within the Marketing team and the company at large, managing social media budgets for company-owned brands and those of high-valued clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage and track social media campaigns on Facebook, as well as other social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube and Pinterest)
  • Manage and oversee campaign set-up and execution
  • Monitor campaign budgeting and key performance metrics
  • Proactively develop and implement optimization strategies to improve campaign performance
  • Prepare meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Participate in the development of media plans and media plan proposals for clients
  • Perform campaign operational duties such as creating tracking links, uploading new creatives, launching new campaigns and any other ad-hoc duties
  • Pull required data for campaign reports
  • Research analytics and user behaviors to identify areas of opportunity and improvement
  • Produce creative briefs and work with the design team in developing creative assets

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years’ experience with managing paid social media campaigns
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Facebook Ads Manager
  • Confidence in the ability to manage 6-figure monthly budgets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Math, Stats or related field
  • Knowledge of Analytics tools
  • Proven results in running mobile app campaigns
  • Experience using mobile attribution platforms
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple accounts
  • Quick thinker, self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with multitasking capability and prioritization skills
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suite required
  • Facebook Ads certified; an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
