Job Description:

As Vice President of Digital Platforms Marketing, you and your team will drive adoption for our suite of digital properties which span portfolio analysis, digital advice and financial planning offerings. This is a unique, high visibility role at the front lines of defining how financial institutions can reinvent wealth management and how we can enable it with our technology.

We are looking for a dynamic product marketer with ability to bring our product value proposition and positioning to life across multiple audiences and channels. You and your team will work with marketing, sales and training teams to craft the playbook that should drive widespread adoption of our technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Build, own and manage product marketing initiatives from value proposition development through to ad hoc adoption campaigns, including:
    • Message development and translation across marketing channels
    • User Acquisition – Lead direct marketing efforts to drive trial and adoption of BlackRock’s advisor technology offerings
    • User Engagement - Design and execute engagement programs to continuously improve Average Monthly Users and frequency of usage
    • Product development – partner closely with the product owners to design engaging experiences, define usability and conversion tests, and plan the launch of new features
  • Build in-depth understanding of our audiences, so that you can speak to them in the most effective way possible
  • Lead testing and optimization to continuously improve the conversion funnel; work with analytics teams to source and leverage data; synthesize results for executive reporting; lead cross-functional forums for communicating periodic results
  • Write original, compelling copy for marketing content that influence changes in behavior and thinking
  • Build strategic relationships across the business including with product development, sales and training to drive product and go-to-market decisions that lead to stronger adoption
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of data-driven marketers

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, product marketing specialty preferred
  • Strategy and execution: combine strategic thinking with tactical execution
  • Marketing campaign management: create, manage and optimize marketing campaigns across multiple channels and audiences.
  • Storytelling: passion for crafting a compelling story that drives people to action and flawless written communication skills
  • Self-Starter: eagerness to roll up your sleeves with ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously and operate in a fast-paced environment to meet tight timelines
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail with ability to drive deadlines, create executive reports, and manage issue escalations
  • Proven track record of cross-organization collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience financial services, wealth management / investment management a strong plus
  • Experience with B2B or B2B2C marketing a strong plus
  • Experience with partnership arrangements as strong plus
  • Design thinker with experience solving problems for financial services customers
  • People management experience preferred
