Sr. Account Manager At Blackhawk Network

Overview:

This person will be responsible for managing Blackhawk’s Digital Distribution Partners, expanding existing programs, and supporting the outside sales team. This person will also be responsible for managing relationships with Canadian e-tailers and incentive companies. He or she will spend most of his / her time meeting and working with clients, either in person or on the phone. The person will be responsible for building strong account relationships that lead to long term partnerships, increased card sales, and ultimately exclusive account retention. This role is cross-functional and perfect for a self-motivating, dynamic individual with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of partner gift card, telecom, and other pre-paid product programs in Blackhawk’s Digital Distribution Partners
  • Manage the procurement, distribution and fulfillment of various promotional programs
  • Upsell Distribution Partners on additional products and services
  • Work to maximize the success of partner programs through best practices, advertising and promotion
  • Deliver presentations to Distribution Partners on the status of the partner programs
  • Manage Blackhawk’s proprietary B2C and B2B website
  • Forecast sales and inventory requirements for all channels (eGift and Physical)
  • Manage inventory for Blackhawk’s B2B Division
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Digital Team at Blackhawk
  • Be capable of learning new product lines and selling and implementing those lines on an ongoing basis
  • Schedule regular client calls, lead call and maintain call notes
  • Manage day to day tasks for the accounts
  • Travel throughout Canada and the U.S. may be required

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to work at the all levels of organizations
  • Ability to build trust with clients and close deals
  • Strong project management and logistic skills with the proven ability to implement programs on time, in spec and on budget
  • Ability to understand and manage technical details of various programs and explain key elements to partners
  • Comfort with complex and intangible product concepts that are not yet fully formed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects on tight deadlines with limited direction
  • High degree of initiative and keen sense of urgency
  • Ability to think strategically, formulate action plans, and sell them through to management
  • Proficient with various desktop software and marketing technologies, such as Microsoft Office Suite
Experience Required:
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a business environment managing retail/e-tail clients and implementing digital marketing programs
