Job Description

For our customer in the aeronautical industry we are looking for a suitable candidate for the location in Montreal, Canada starting as soon as possible for the following position:

Senior Harness Definition Engineer (f/m) Ref. 2018_595

Your skills:

  • Analysis of electrical definitions (PD, WD, VKH, VKM, RLO) to create harness 2D drawings
  • Development of solutions in close consultation with the customer as well as the implementation with the support of the departments
  • Creation of graphical documents in 2D drawings, mapping and optimization of technical processes (e.g., design process)
  • Close cooperation with the installation team and harness manufacturing at the production sites in the national and international environment
  • Technical documentation in the Product Data Management System
  • Support in clarifying technical issues with customers and partners
  • Further development of manufacturing processes focusing on competence blending Harness Definition and Electrical System Installation

Your skills:

  • Completed training as a technician or a university degree as engineer in the field of electrical engineering or similar training
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the harness definition and at least 5 years experience working with CCD, Zamiz and TAKSY / ELSY
  • Knowledge in Catia V4 (3D / 2D), VPM, Catia V5, Trend, Zamiz, Cadam, Taksy, Elsy are desirable
  • Very good knowledge of the Airbus standards TDD, SIPD
  • Experience in international teams
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Teamplayer
