Job Description:
Responsible for leading the development, implementation,
management and assessment of the sales, marketing and
communications of the Provincial Transit Program.
Provides strategic marketing and communications
expertise and leadership to complex projects in support
of an integrated, multi-modal environment.
Key Accountabilities
of a corporate wide integrated communication
strategy for employees, customers, stakeholders,
local and provincial government partners that
includes public and media relations response and
strategies, events and announcements, community
relations and consultation programs in partnership
with local partners and other BC Transit
management of branding and marketing programs
designed to retain existing customers and attract
new customers to transit services throughout the
province including market research programs and
public transit information strategies.

including changes in fares, fare technology, fare
products and revenue programs designed to stimulate
ridership and revenue.

Job Requirements:
Education and Experience

experience five (5) of which should include senior

combination of education, training and experience
