What is the opportunity?

The Assistant Director, Information & Insights oversees the management of enterprise information including providing forecasted trends and insights into the information to allow trustees, executives and management to make evidence based business decisions. The role is responsible for measurement, analytics and reporting services both historical and forward thinking, ensuring alignment of these functions with the corporate strategic plan. This role provides research, trend analysis, statistical reports and data analysis to clients across the corporation to inform future business decisions. The role also provides oversight into the management of information ensuring information is accurate, accessible, traceable and protected.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Related university degree, diploma or equivalent in public administration;
  • Proven experience in business analytics and/or information management at a senior level;
  • Experience working with managing data and information at an enterprise level; and
  • Knowledge and experience interpreting and applying legislation, preferably FIPPA.
