We have two permanent, full-time high-impact Lead
Business Analyst positions available within our growing
ITS division! Each role requires an in-depth knowledge
of business analysis and experience; however, one will
initially be focused on our nextGen project, which is a
multi-year, multi-million dollar initiative to replace
BCA s core assessment system with commercial off the
shelf software (COTS) and the other will work with our
Planning and Architecture team. The Lead Business
Analyst for each team is an intermediate professional
position with a variety of interesting work, significant
and complex analysis, and great growth potential.

The Lead Business Analyst for nextGen:
This role will play a vital part in the nextGen project,
which is a multi-year, multi-million dollar initiative
to replace BCA s core assessment system with commercial
off the shelf software (COTS). The project is well into
the Implementation Phase; scheduled for completion in
2019. After this project is complete, the exciting Lead
BA work will continue!
The position requires someone who can work
collaboratively and has considerable experience with a
wide variety of business analyst skills. You must be
comfortable jumping in to this fast-paced environment
and focusing on demonstrating strong BA skills while you
develop business knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

The Lead Business Analyst for Planning and Architecture:
This role requires someone that enjoys a hybrid of
analysis, communications, research and planning. It is
not as technical, but requires someone that loves
technology and its integral place within business. In
addition to helping develop business processes and
requirements, you will also have a heavy focus on
outgoing communications and client relations as it
pertains to IT governance and our overall planning and
architecture function. We are planning, questioning,
digging in and developing process and governance. We are
also innovators and the team itself is comprised of a
new director, managers and other staff.
We need someone who can effectively communicate the work

that we do and why we do it in a multitude of ways:
written, verbal, presentations and facilitation. The
type of communicator that can break apart the "big" and
make it easily understandable, and if in written or
presentation form, visually appealing. Someone that has
great client relations skills and can build effective
relationships. Someone who thrives in an environment
where transparency is key, relationships are everything
and doing it right (and with purpose) really matters.

To be successful in either role:
You need to be a proactive, detailed-oriented,
analytical, customer focused individual that is able to
synthesize complex information in order to understand
issues and be able to prioritize tasks, coordinate
resources and make sound decisions that contribute to
the success of the organization. You enjoy breaking
apart complex tasks and coming up with innovative
solutions to completing those tasks according to a
predefined fixed schedule. You work well at all levels
of the organization.
Relationship-building skills, communication skills and
organizational ability are key to being successful in
this role. You must be able to work collaboratively with
a wide variety of people, build teams, and support
cross-functional teams within the organization. This
role requires strong verbal and written communication
skills (both technical and non), as well as facilitation
skills to conduct information gathering sessions with
relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

engineering, or equivalent. University degree in
business administration or finance (plus related
IM/IT courses) will be considered.
