Key Account Manager - Radiology - Montreal, QC At Bayer Canada

Job Description

POSITION: Key Account Manager - Radiology

LOCATION: Montreal, Quebec

DEPT: Radiology


The Key Account Manager (KAM) will build relationships with key customers as defined by the influence and/or revenue impact within the Regional boundaries. This KAM will understand and recommend all Bayer Radiology, Interventional and Service offerings to these customers as well as identify opportunities to expand business through Bayer Radiology enterprise solutions. The KAM will establish a comprehensive account plans aimed at penetrating key stakeholders within Radiology (focused on CT and MRI). The KAM will collaborate with the National Sales Director on customer strategy (pricing, product placement, offerings, service etc.) regionally (possible national) while understanding the overall financial impact on the R&I business. The KAM will lead and coordinate delivery of local and national resources to address key customer support needs and deepen the Bayer relationship.


KEY RESPONSIBITIES:

  • Develop and execute account plans/strategies aimed at penetrating key stakeholders (Physicians, directors, managers etc.) within Radiology.

  • Accountable for building strategic long-term business partnerships with top tier accounts within the region.

  • Responsible for contract pricing and standardization including monitoring pricing on a Regional level and understanding Regional and National guidelines and financial objectives.

  • Responsible for overall sales objectives in the region (revenue and gross margin) as well as contribution to overall region sales performance.

  • Determine utilization and deployment of experts in the region to support selling process (clinical, service, business partners)

  • Accountable for full sales life cycle from opportunity identification to closing sales opportunities.

  • Collaborate with multiple internal groups such as managed markets, strategic account teams together with service and clinical support to ensure delivery of customer lifetime value proposition.

  • Supporting existing contractual obligations (CME’s,educational events, Conferences etc.)



DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s (or technical) degree required, Master’s Degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of directly related experience, with significant exposure to:

    • Strategic Planning

    • Medical device / pharma industry

    • Market direction

    • Budgeting knowledge

  • Willing to travel in connection with duties
