Job Description:
This position is accountable for managing the risk associated with the Trade and Supply Chain Finance portfolio, focused on ensuring appropriate client credit worthiness, maintaining comprehensive compliance routines, proactively monitoring criticized asset levels and providing on-going strategic transaction reviews.The following provides additional detail on this critical advisory role:

Portfolio Analysis: Proactively review the product portfolio to identify trends and monitor for at risk clients, industries and countries; work with the appropriate client coverage team to develop risk mitigation strategies. Forecast potential risks to create accurate financial projections and forecasting across the business globally. Develop materials for portfolio and business reviews.

Strategic Insights: Influence the development of the evolving business strategy through development of key metrics dashboards and scorecards, revenue reporting, trade management reporting and trade business partner reporting/presentations.

Asset Quality: Assume a lead role in delivering on asset quality reporting and management, determining and setting the agenda with Trade and Risk leadership with regard to topics of special focus such as deteriorating markets and high risk transactions.

Organizational Focus: Expand network and exposure through interaction with key support partners (Legal, Technology, Operations, and Risk) to gain broad strategic consensus/support; Engage with clients to understand market perspective and evolving product needs

Audit: Lead the preparation, execution and remediation efforts (if necessary) of internal and external audits; Manage inventory of all SIAI, AIAI, and CIAIs

Compliance: Own the controls put in place with respect to the laws, rules, and regulations related to the business; Oversee Know Your Customer (KYC) issues including, but not limited to: KYC refreshes, break remediation, product compliance
REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum of 10 years of Trade/Supply Chain product experience working for either bank, financial institution, or FinTech, with demonstrated record of increasingly broader roles in open account trade processing and financing products and/or other working capital products.

Demonstrated technical skills, and a strong desire to challenge the status quo, and embrace new technology, outside providers/channel partners to accelerate growth

Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated track-record in delivering projects per plan and on budget. Foundational credit experience.

Proven strategic and analytical abilities; strong client-facing presence, and excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong partnering skills with sales, credit, and platform teams; Ability to internally influence and drive urgency/actions internally across functions.
