As traditional bank services are being unbundled, the Bank of America Digital Banking team must innovate and transform to remain a category leader in consumer financial services. The Digital Strategy and Emerging Experiences team are responsible for driving that innovation across the digital and physical footprint of Bank of America by bringing solutions and services to clients that do not already exist in the financial services industry today.

The Digital Strategy and Emerging Experiences team delivers world-class digital banking experiences and platforms. We strive to better serve our bank clients by continually evolving our existing digital offerings and working to disrupt ourselves and meet our customers where they are. Through ongoing research and creative exploration of emerging technologies and experiences, we strive to enable business growth and enhance the client experience.

The Emerging Client Solutions Executive will be focused on incubating emerging technologies, experiences, and opportunities. She/he will build and lead a team chartered with rapid prototyping and development in support of the long term digital strategy. Whether executing collaborations with strategic partners, building out prototypes for investment cases, or simply innovating on existing capabilities, the right leader will bring creative product thinking grounded in an understanding of what’s feasible to bear solving concrete business and experience challenges. Success is the creation of innovative solutions that delight customers and deliver on business goals and are therefore integrated into the digital banking experience.

As the Emerging Client Solutions Executive you will

  • Shape bank’s digital innovation agenda: shape the future of digital consumer banking by defining and driving an aggressive innovation agenda; solve for customer and business needs by leveraging early-stage technologies, new consumer electronics and products, etc to deliver innovative products and experiences for bank customers
  • Define road map: support overall digital strategy with an aligned prototyping and innovation road map. You will determine which opportunities and what experiences to explore, partner with finance and the strategy team to size opportunities and define what success
  • looks like, and work across experience design and technology to deliver
  • Deliver prototypes: partner with Experience Design, Technology, and other internal partners to deliver quick, functional prototypes targeting well-defined business needs, partnerships opportunities, and explorations
  • Promote to production: define hand off to production teams post-incubation and ensure successful transition of green-lighted prototypes
  • Explore partnerships: engage with Third Party partners to define and execute partnership and co-development opportunities
  • You’re a person who has (required skills)

  • 5 - 10 years of experience including rapid prototyping, product strategy, product management, and co-development
  • 3 - 5 years in a lead role, with a track record of managing and inspiring people to achieve their maximum potential
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multi-channel industry standards and best practices
  • And you are a person who:

  • Is passionate about consumer technology and building engaging consumer experiences
  • Collaborates effectively and without ego to get things done, building and nurturing strong relationships
  • Is exceptional at problem-solving, issue resolution and time management
  • Demonstrates strong listening, communication and presentation skills

You’ll be better prepared if you have (desired skills)

  • Prior background in establishing an innovation practice in a high paced digital environment
  • Bachelor’s with compensating experience
  • Digital or similar industry experience preferred
  • Project management experience a plus

Enterprise Description:

Fully Directs and initiates eCommerce/ ATM marketing programs, initiatives, channel strategy and research projects. Leads teams who works closely with business partners in creating new eCommerce/ ATM strategies for physical and electronic channels and implementing new marketing approaches. Act as the architect for one or more eCommerce product development projects, leveraging technical acumen to help design and/ or implement systems and user acceptance tests. Directly involved with the largest and/or most complex projects and/or initiatives. Has management responsibility. Is responsible for hiring, managing, training and developing associates.
