Bank of America is one of the world's largest financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services. Following the acquisition of Merrill Lynch on January 1, 2009, Bank of America is among the world's leading wealth management companies and is a global leader in corporate and investment banking and trading across a broad range of asset classes serving corporations, governments, institutions and individuals around the world.
The Market Risk Data Management (MRDM) within the Quantitative Services Risk Operations (QRSO) Group is responsible for ensuring the quality of market risk data. The Policy Adherence and Reporting (PAR) team within the MRDM team provides the governance framework to ensure that the controls executed by MRDM comply with all relevant enterprise and regulatory requirements. The PAR team leverages enterprise processes (RCSA, PRC, PCS) and enterprise tools (eDIM, ORCIT, ERR, DQC, EDR) to provide evidence for internal and external verifications and attestations (SOX, QA Assessments). This role requires that the data management analyst continually reviews, documents, and enhances control and governance processes to ensure that they comply with Enterprise Data Architecture (EDA) strategy, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), and the Risk Data Aggregation (RDA) principles of Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS 239).
