The Digital Strategy and Emerging Experiences team delivers world-class digital banking experiences and platforms. Through ongoing research and creative exploration of emerging technologies and experiences, we strive to enable business growth and enhance the client experience.

The Digital Business Development Executive will be focused on accelerating development and innovation and enhancing our digital offering through strategic partnerships, investments, collaborations, and the identification and execution of new growth opportunities. We are looking for individuals who have experience setting and executing growth strategies and leveraging data, trends, research, and relationships to help give their team and company the edge with consumers and partners alike.

As the Digital Business Development Executive you will

  • Define a business development plan: work across peers, senior executives, and internal partners (technology, marketing, legal, compliance, finance and sales partners) to create a unified business development plan in support of our overall digital strategy
  • Build strategic partnerships: build strategic partnerships and collaborations with large scale companies and institutions to pursue growth opportunities initiatives
  • Engage new entrants: research, identify, and engage new entrants in the finance and tech fields to accelerate digital product innovation and enhance digital solutions in the areas of finance tools, articial intelligence, internet of things (IOT), data insights and analytics, business processes, and more
  • Develop pitches: build and deliver partnership/investment pitches for internal and external use supported by thorough business plans, creative story-telling about the opportunity, and audience-appropriate approach
  • Negotiate: negotiate large-scale, complex partnerships agreements from vision to close in accordance with company best practices and legal, risk, and compliance standards
  • Manage relationships and execution: act as main stakeholder and point of contact for partnerships, co-development, and collaboration efforts; leverage internal partners to help execute established partnerships, develop prototypes, pre-sales pitches, etc.
  • Competitive landscape: educate the team, share your point of view on current market trends, timing for bringing ideas to market, ability to scale and awareness of competing risks in technology, Fintech and/or investment sector; partner with competitive intelligence teams for knowledge sharing

You’re a person who has (required skills)

  • 5-10 years of digital business development, strategic partnerships, or venture investing experience with large scale corporations or equivalent consulting role
  • Strong understanding of current market and industry trends in financial services, technology, fintech, IOT, data, analytics, application platforms, and investments that businesses and clients are using to drive and deliver digital adoption/transformation
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, (building, expanding and maintaining supportive relationships internal/external)
  • Articulate, thoughtful communication skills and the ability to inform both technical/non-technical stakeholders with effective narrative, pitches, and thought-out plans
  • Demonstrated experience creating, implementing and driving to a business strategy/plan with impactful expected results
  • Experience negotiating, influencing, identifying, and managing complex partnerships; considering all avenues - business structures /acquisitions (joint-venture, co-development,) while staying ahead of the highly competitive technology product market
  • Forward thinking problem-solving and phenomenal analytical stills; finely tuned business judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and collaborate with various organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities

Enterprise Description:

Fully Directs and initiates eCommerce/ ATM marketing programs, initiatives, channel strategy and research projects. Leads teams who works closely with business partners in creating new eCommerce/ ATM strategies for physical and electronic channels and implementing new marketing approaches. Act as the architect for one or more eCommerce product development projects, leveraging technical acumen to help design and/ or implement systems and user acceptance tests. Directly involved with the largest and/or most complex projects and/or initiatives. Has management responsibility. Is responsible for hiring, managing, training and developing associates.
