Responsible for the lifecycle of assigned brands. As the Brand Manager you will be responsible for unifying internal and external stakeholders under a clear vision that aligns the brand objectives with the overall company-wide objectives and drive to success.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ownership of strategic projects, including but not limited to:
Ownership of Annual Marketing Plan
Initiate marketing plan and track to established budget
Agency and vendor sourcing and relationship management
Media strategy and procurement
Development of media/marketing assets (i.e. TV commercials, ad banners, etc.)
Website and Social Media strategic development and maintenance
Brand specific promotions (trade/consumer)
Public relations and publicity efforts
Consumer event organization and support
Lead Product Development
S&R - Initiate strategic vision for the brand, secure internal approval and align with R&D
P&L - create, maintain, track and report on financial goals
BLD - Set strategic direction for product line
Contribute in weekly development meeting
Packaging development in support of product and marketing objectives
Internal & External approvals
Support Sales, Retail & Operations Initiatives
Creation and presentation of line reviews, toy fairs, etc.
Ideate and execute retail programs to drive business
Ensure data integrity within internal systems and external retailer systems
Manage Licensor Relationship
Line review presentation and approval
Cross promotional leadership
Maintain consistent IP integrity throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events
Research and Analysis
Researches industry trends, product and marketing initiatives of the competition, analyze and present conclusions to internal teams and external partners
Conducts product checks at stores and reports to management
Researches sales on a week to week basis and works closely with Sales Analysis dept. on brand trends
Works with Sales Analysis to determine marketing programs effectiveness and product sell-through, and to identify opportunities for increased sales
Travels as needed to sales meetings, promotional events, trade shows, etc.
Updates Image Photo Library as needed.
Coordinates samples shipments to ensure product availability for key accounts, advertising shoots, PR events, etc.
Maintains appearance and organization of marketing showroom and storage areas
