The Opportunity:
We're looking for a Director, Internal Change Management to join our Project Management Office.
Reporting to the VP, Project Management Office, the Director, Internal Change Management will play a key role in ensuring successful adoption of large-scale business transformation initiatives. Responsibilities include developing a clear understanding of organizational change management and driving support with senior leadership, as well as throughout the organization. The Director partners with internal and external resources as they establish an organizational change model/methodology and execute change management strategies and plans in support of business transformation initiatives throughout Aviso.
The Director will work with people across the organization, in a variety of roles, and geographical regions. S/He will act as a coach for leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor, also assisting them as they guide their employees through change initiatives.
While the incumbent will report directly to the Integration Management Office, this is a shared role between the Integration Management Office and People & Culture.

Requirements:
What your day looks like:
Lead change management for the implementation of business transformational initiatives Create a measurement system to assess awareness, understanding, buy-in and support of change management activities. Develop a feedback mechanism around strategic touch points to facilitate open discussions of organizational improvement opportunities. Conduct change readiness assessments, evaluate results, present findings, and make recommendations to senior leaders. Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy that supports adoption and assesses the impact of the changes required. Support the design, development, delivery and management of internal communications. Work closely with People and Culture to support the Aviso culture initiatives Identify where required, provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs with Learning and Development. Create and deploy change management tools and guide the change agents in their use. Partner with the Aviso Integration Management Office and business leaders to identify long-term change management initiatives throughout the enterprise. Develop detailed change management and risk mitigation plans and supporting materials, in close partnership with External Change Management and Communications Partner closely with the Project Management Office to manage the execution of change activities in alignment with project plans. Set direction for change agenda and manage results for successful outcomes. Coach executive sponsors, people leaders, change champions, and change agents for effectiveness in their change-related roles.

Your experience and skills:
Change management certification or designation Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources or equivalent 5 years of experience in a similar role at a large, multi-location organization Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle. Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools. Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, active listening skills. Excellent organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels in the organization Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
