Job Description

We are currently looking for 1 Business Development Manager to join our Sales Department.

Prior automotive experience is not required but preferred. If you are a high energy, well-spoken professional with a positive attitude and like to be busy we encourage to apply today for a confidential interview.

Calgary Hyundai BDC team members are responsible for inbound/outbound calls, Internet leads and appointment setting for our clients. Prior experience in customer service, telemarketing, retail or sales of any kind is a plus.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • High volume of outbound follow up and inbound phone sales calls
  • Creating appointments for clients to visit
  • Learning customers’ needs while building rapport
  • Completing follow-up tasks on daily activities, contact lists and campaigns
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly performance reporting
  • Answer all incoming phone calls according to script and schedule sales and service appointments.
  • Making outbound and answering inbound calls
  • Log all Customer comments and appointments in VinSolutions CRM.
  • Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made.
  • Contact Customers using scripts to schedule appointments for Sales and Service.
  • Confirm scheduled appointments.
  • Reschedule no-show Customer appointments.
  • Follow up with Sales or Service Department to determine if appointment was kept and the outcome.
  • Schedule future contact with customers as needed.
  • Purify and update Customer changes in database.
  • Contact Customers based on current marketing initiatives.
  • Respond to Customer website requests.
  • Contact Internet Customers via email and phone to schedule an appointment.
  • Follow up on Internet Customer emails according to a pre-determined timeline.
  • Notify necessary departments when an appointment is scheduled.
  • Assist with other duties, as assigned.
  • Ability to meet or exceed monthly goals.
  • Scheduling and training of your team members

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
  • Excellent appearance, verbal/written (40 WPM minimum) communication skills

  • Previous experience with VinSoultions is preferred but not necessary
