Regional Sales Trainer At Aurora Cannabis

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

Job Description

REGIONAL SALES TRAINER


Reporting to the National Sales Trainer, the Regional Sales Trainer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support the National Sales Trainer in creating and maintaining all training materials for Retailer and Sales Representative training sessions
  • Works collaboratively with the Technical Trainers to support Western Sales Representatives in delivering training sessions to Retail partners
  • Support Technical Trainers with Sales Team onboarding
  • On going support and coaching of Sales Representatives on how to effectively deliver training sessions
  • Works with Sales Representatives to help educate and improve their cannabis knowledge
  • Cannabis knowledge expert owning and updating cannabis specific content for training decks
  • Works within the approved regulatory framework to provide community outreach and I support on behalf of Aurora Cannabis
  • Supports Manager of Partnerships and Events to represent Aurora Cannabis at both internal and external events as needed


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s Degree, diploma or certificate in Business, Commerce, Education, Training, or related fields, or related/equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with the medical use of Cannabis and understanding of the cannabis industry in general is considered a strong asset
  • Knowledge and/or experience working in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment considered an asset
  • Bilingual (English and French) considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • The ability to interact positively with a variety of individuals
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines on time
  • Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Proven ability to master the full training cycle
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management software
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with talent management and succession planning
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
