Primarily responsible for shunting (moving) trailers between buildings. The secondary responsibility is to assist in general warehouse duties (e.g., putting away stock and picking customer orders).
Supervision and Leadership: No formal supervisory responsibility.
Independence in Action: Employee has the flexibility to decide the order in which tasks are completed during the day.
Financial Responsibility: Makes recommendations to management regarding the maintenance and repairs that are necessary to the tractor and forklift.
Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Problems are straight forward and easy to understand.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Follows established procedures.
Communication: Communication with truck drivers (external to the company) when loading and unloading trucks.
Education: Requires the completion of high school.
Experience: At least 1 experiences; some previous distribution or warehouse experience an asset.
Certifications: Requires Forklift Operator Certification Valid drivers license (AZ) and current drivers Abstract
