Sales Coordinator (Full-Time) At Aquarium of Canada LP

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada is looking for a sales coordinator to provide key support to the Sales team and Client before during and after the booking. Responsibilities include: maintaining business communications managing booking details and correspondence contracts preparing files scheduling preparing presentations processing payment and administrative duties.

Position: Sales Coordinator (Full-Time)
Facility: Ripley's Aquarium of Canada
Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Purpose:
The Sales Coordinator supports the Sales Team with responsibilities that include but are not limited to: maintaining business communications managing booking details and correspondence contracts preparing files scheduling preparing presentations processing payment and administrative duties. The Sales Coordinator will provide key support to the Sales Team and Client before during and after the booking. This role is instrumental to the success of the organization in helping to contribute to our annual budget and attendance targets. Please note there may be some travel required for this position.

Critical Accountabilities:
Represents Ripley's Aquarium of Canada when welcoming guests/groups and provide Site Tours.
Assist in the development of new sales programs to maximize the guest experience.
Demonstrated sales ability of group tour & travel group and corporate sales with respect to conventions / trade shows / in-person / phone / email and relationship building.
Relationship management to establish and build healthy working relationships with partners identifying prospective partners and negotiating successfully in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Assist with out of town tradeshows conventions as well as with the development implementation and distribution of marketing and sales materials.
Build upon our Corporate Program Concierge Program and be the main point of contact.

Special Skills and Requirements:
1-3 years of sales experience in the tourism / hospitality field
Experience with Siriusware or other attractions ticketing systems preferred.
Goal-oriented articulate creative friendly and outgoing.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to assist in the preparation distribution and communication of promotional and collateral sales materials including direct mail campaign components flyers/packages web content electronic newsletters etc. including fundamental presentation skills.
Excellent customer service/client relations skills to negotiate with suppliers & operators sales distribution channels promotional partners etc.
Highly organized team oriented and motivated.
Must have a minimum G2 license.
Interest in marine life and environmental stewardship a plus.

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada LP is open 365 days of the year this makes our company and industry fun and exciting but it is something to consider.
