Job Description

PRIMARY POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Coordinator – International Marketing
REPORTS TO: SR Manager - International Marketing

PURPOSE

Support the International Marketing team on the development and rollout of international marketing programs. The position will assist the Sr Manager in the execution of marketing programs globally by sharing ideas, conducting research and helping on daily tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Process
  • Support in the development of International strategies to communicate the AE & Aerie brand internationally to maximize commercial impact
  • Discuss ideas, conduct market research, analyze previous programs and maintain competitive intelligence
  • Help team in analyzing marketing initiative performance against set objectives and KPIs to develop hindsight’s resulting in key learnings and best practices
  • Responsible for seasonal recap deck development and aggregation
  • Participate in the creation of international briefs/asset requests/approvals
  • In partnership with Sr Manager develop and share briefs to creative, including product alignment and asset needs
  • Support the creation of Seasonal Global Guidance, Global shot lists, Styleguide & Recap
  • Support Sr Manager on seasonal global guidance planning, from brief to recap
  • Main point of contact for creative team to ensure styleguide is delivered on time and aligned with brief
  • Main point of contact for international specific photo shoots between merchandising, creative and marketing
  • Own and maintain International Calendar to support global holidays and fuse into overall seasonal strategy
  • Own and maintain global GWP program
  • Partner with Sr Manager on ideation of new offering
  • Own ordering and delivery process with production end to end
  • Maintain orders from different markets and create POs
  • Analyze seasonal marketing initiatives performance against set objectives and KPIs to develop hindsight’s resulting in key learnings and best practices
  • Responsible for seasonal recap deck development and aggregation
International Partners Relations
  • Review, identify discrepancies, give feedback and approve APAC partner visuals (online/offline) against seasonal style guide to maintain brand standards and global consistency

  • Responsible for reviewing all APAC social media content creating guidance documents and providing feedback to ensure all handles are on brand

  • Be the key point of contact for APAC partners to facilitate seasonal execution

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of relevant professional marketing experience
  • International retail experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of online and offline marketing tactics
  • Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority, anticipate issues and provide creative solutions
  • Self-Starter with comfort in working in ambiguity
  • Excellent attention to detail, superior communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to build effective partnerships
  • Ability to interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels
  • Strong computer skills (Google docs, Microsoft Office Suite) required
