Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, and working in collaboration with the Member Operations Director, accountable for the execution of an annual strategic
marketing plan for the renewal of members, their continued engagement with the ABA, an improved member experience, and increasing the collection of dues
revenue to support dues paid member goals.
Principal Duties/Job Responsibilities
Establishes the marketing strategy for member drop prevention activities, including working within the larger marketing team, and with member operations
and member groups' colleagues to identify engagement opportunities to improve the member experience. Continuously assesses and develops marketing strategies
for member drop prevention activities, including focused multi-channel campaigns prior to the drops a non-payment of dues.
Collaborates in establishing and sharing strategic annual marketing plans for member outreach, and messages in support of ABA and Entity membership and dues
revenue targets; implementing best practices to optimize revenue generation and member retention.
Collaborates in defining and building renewal and win-back journeys based on key audience segments using a multi-channel approach in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Support development and implementation of strategies to increase use of auto-renewal option.
Provides leadership, direction, coaching, and feedback to and through assigned staff members.
Working with colleagues in Membership Operations, provides assistance in determining infrastructure of payment options and price testing and develops
marketing strategy and approach. Working with colleagues in Membership Operations, develops billing marketing strategy, segmentation and messaging,
including evaluation and reporting on successes and opportunities for the renewal strategies.
Supports and assists in the development of renewal strategies, and win-back journeys
based on key audience segments, including increasing use of auto-renewal option. Jointly reviews and assesses campaign and project reports; partnering with Member Operations, Analytics, and Finance
teams to define reporting, tracking, and appropriate analysis of all key customer key performance indicators [KPSs] and quantitative/qualitative
Accountable for the development and implementation of an approved departmental budget with the focus of maintaining expenses while concurrently meeting all
business objectives. May reallocate resources based upon operational factors. Performs other related duties as required.
Basic Qualifications & Interests (BQIs)
Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. At least five years' experience in marketing across multiple facets of marketing to include
revenue accountability and leadership of an assigned team.
Previous experience utilizing complex analytics to measure, report, and, where necessary, implement corrective action against membership retention
At least three years' experience working in a membership or subscription-based business model which must have included trial, tiered, and bundled offerings.
Possession of an advanced skill level in the Microsoft Office Suite of products, web tools, social media, and database management. Previous experience
in building, running, and optimizing automated membership programs and
Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud for the development of renewal journeys.
