Business Development Manager At America One Security

Location: Los Angeles, California

Job Description

America One Security is a private security firm based in Los Angeles, CA. The Business Development Manager position is solely commission based on earning potential in excess of $150,000. Candidates should be performance-oriented and self-starters.

The ideal applicant will have experience in selling B2B services; preferably in the security industry. This position will require all the skills necessary to locate and close new business: setting appointments, delivering presentations, developing proposals and contracts, working with customers on-site, handling inbound telephone calls and email inquiries, etc. Additionally, this position will be responsible for managing all new accounts. America One Security provides healthcare and 401K.

Job Responsibilities

  • Continuously review competition and industry trends as well as client feedback to anticipate future market needs
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
  • Create long-term value for the organization from customers, markets, and relationships
  • Structure and negotiate outsourcing/consulting agreements
  • Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with Marketing Director to achieve revenue goals
  • Vet and perform due diligence on development partners to structure the most effective partnerships for the organization
  • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Assist in company's branding and media communication activities
  • Structure and negotiate deals with new partners
  • Develop and implement growth opportunities within and between organizations
  • Evaluate business opportunities and negotiate deals
  • Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Find and develop new markets and improve sales
  • Maintain strong relationships with current and prospective client and partners

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • BA/BS
  • 10+ years of relevant experience: Business Development, Partner Management, Account Management, Corporate Development
  • Strong writing/proposal development skills
  • Experience in driving the deal process, beginning with sourcing and evaluating opportunities, negotiating contracts and finally providing partner support post-execution
  • Experience building strategic frameworks for evaluating new business opportunities
  • Experience in negotiating complex transactions
  • Understanding of the physical security industry
  • Skills in building strategic frameworks for evaluating opportunities
  • Ability to structure and negotiate contracts
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to present to CEO-level audience
  • Strong attention to detail

This is a commissioned-based position with an earning potential of $150k-$300k a year. We also offer continuous training and growth opportunities.
