Product Manager At amdocs

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Professional who understands market needs, maps these needs to well-defined requirements for products/capabilities, and manages the end-to-end lifecycle of products.

What will your job look like?
  • By understanding the market, customer challenges, and our product's unique abilities, you will have the opportunity to differentiate Amdocs vs. the competition. Other activities include competitive analysis, early validation activities, and retrospective win/loss analysis.
  • You will help us define, validate, and articulate product projections over the next 1-3 years (product roadmap), including product strategy at the portfolio and corporate levels.
  • You will secure product investment by building compelling business cases for innovative products.
  • You will translate market knowledge, product strategy, and business cases into a successful product plan.
  • You will define and manage the correct product readiness plan to ensure that the business is ready to sell, deliver, and support the product.
  • You will support sales channels as the product and market expert for applicable product(s).
All you need is...
  • At least 2-3 years of experience delivering successful software products in a Product Management or similar role (e.g. product design, Pre-Sales engineer, product marketing) in a relevant industry.
  • Experience in driving products through a matrix of R&D, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Executive, and Customer stakeholders.
  • Experience in supporting Pre-Sales activities and customer accounts/engagements.
  • Background in analysis of market trends and customer needs in a relevant industry (or major enterprises), preferably with experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Experienced in leading new initiatives (for multiple Product Management roles).
  • Preferred experience in technologies and practices like DevOps, SaaS, OIDC and Identity, event frameworks (Kafka) etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree - MBA optional.
