We are looking for a Sales Leader for AWS Elemental (AWSE) on the Eastern United States.

As the East Coast Sales Leader for this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of AWS’s Media and Entertainment technologies that will have a significant impact on our customer’s global distribution model. Your responsibilities will include building and managing a highly talented sales team focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration of solutions such as MediaLIve, MediaConvert, MediaPackage, MediaTailor, MediaConnect, and MediaStore.
The ideal candidate will possess a sales management background that enables them to lead a team of senior enterprise sales representatives with engagements at the CXO level. They will be a self-starter and be willing to operate both tactically and strategically. As a key team member in this fast-growing space, they will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of a service category that will have a significant impact on our customers' business.
Their responsibilities will include building and managing a highly talented sales team, building and managing a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration. They will have current direct selling experience and be able to own as a player-coach target high-value accounts. They will have a proven track record and background in managing highly productive sales team, able to deliver results, and ensuring that the team is enabled to lead a sales effort that will include teaming with AWS senior enterprise sales representatives, solutions architects, partners, and engagements at the CxO/VP level in the largest AWS accounts. The successful candidate will also possess a technical understanding of the Video Supply Chain that enables them to easily interact with developers and technical architects.
They should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges as well as build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. They must have exceptional written and persuasive verbal skills.
