IMDb is the world's most popular and authoritative source for movie, TV and celebrity content. The IMDb consumer site (www.imdb.com) is the #1 movie website in the world with a combined web and mobile audience of more than 250 million unique monthly visitors. IMDb offers a searchable database of more than 250 million data items including more than 5 million movies, TV and entertainment programs and more than 8 million cast and crew members.

IMDb is looking for a Sr. Account Executive to sell solutions to the Fortune 500 C-Level and their agencies to successfully grow and scale the category’s domestic revenues.

Our ideal candidate will have 7-10 years experience. With your broad and long-standing client-side and agency relationships you will act as a strategic & consultative partner to your assigned categories to sell a wide range of solutions that will ensure that their brand-building and awareness-focused business goals are met. Experience representing entertainment and/or lifestyle focused publishers is preferred.

As an individual contributor, you’ll be supported by our operations team across both IMDb Amazon Group, and will benefit from working alongside the leadership teams that have charted our explosive growth across both properties.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 - 10 years sales experience as an individual contributor
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently close sales and generate revenues, including sponsorship and offline activation
  • Strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years sales experience as an individual contributor
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently close sales and generate revenues, including sponsorship & offline activation
  • Strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and presenting both over the phone and in person
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through
