The incumbent performs analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation and maintenance of ITS custom applications to support the business needs of the various departments within Algonquin College.
The incumbent also drives the development platform and provides leadership to other development staff to support the integration of our systems leading to the sharing of information across all business units.
The incumbent assumes the responsibility of developing solutions for medium to large, complex business applications by exercising the highest level of analytical, design and programming skills.
The incumbent provides technical guidance and leadership to staff members to help staff members in designing and implementing new feature functionality and troubleshooting issues.
Minimum three (3) year Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
Minimum three (3) of the following technical certifications, or equivalent:
