Support the Director, eSIM and PI by providing models of eSIM program design and delivery as well as on integrating that with the process improvement and with QHI. Identify and maintain best practices for simulation curriculum design and delivery. Maintain and review simulation faculty development programs, ensuring they are current, up to date, and meeting the needs of PI/eSIM and our stakeholders (WISE). Mentor the eSIM consultants to develop new skills towards strategic goals set by Leadership. Create standards and certification protocols for developing simulation capacity of the organization. Advise the Director on creating best-in-class models to prioritize resources so that team capacity is applied to most impactful work. Work with Director and staff to Identify, create, and maintain simulation policies, procedures, and processes to ensure efficient utilization of resources. Create Capital Equipment Refresh guidelines and advise Director on new technologies and how to incorporate those into the Simulation service delivery in AHS. Advise programs within AHS on simulation infrastructure initiatives such as practice readiness centre builds and acquisition of other simulation related resources. Act as simulation advisor on zone, regional, provincial committees and SCNs.
Baccalaureate in a health sciences discipline or a combination of education and experience is required. Five (5) year experience in Simulation and Process Improvement work. Training and experience in the delivery of adult learning programs such as ACLS, PALS, ATLS required (experience in non-clinical adult education may be considered as equivalent).
