Job Description

As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolves complex technical problems, finds solutions to customer needs, and leads projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate diagnoses and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in development utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio for ASP.NET, Web Services, WebAPI, ADO.NET. Languages: C#, VB.Net, MS SQL Server, Oracle, JavaScript/DOM/jQuery, VBScript, HTML5, CSS3, and XML. 3 - 5 years of web application development experience. Minimum 2 years experience with enterprise class Content Management Systems such as Red Dot, Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2016. Strong understanding of current web technologies. Experienced working with vendors and contractors on technical issues. Excellent consulting & negotiation skills, and the ability to influence others. Strong problem solving skills. Self-motivated and works with little supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge with Microsoft Team Foundation Server. Experience with enterprise web analytics tools and mobile application. Ability to: Complete all phases of Application Development Life Cycle (ADLC). Develop large scale web applications. Work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines. Communicate clearly with business users and project manager. Innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces. Create user guides/documentation. Ability to work on-call rotations.
