The successful candidate will report directly to the Director and will be responsible for a multitude of areas. Responsibilities include leading a small team under the premise of the LEADS framework, creating a systems approach to decision making and being a change agent. Responsibilities include but is not limited to: Mentorship and development of staff, Coaching and performace of professional and unregulated evaluation of staff, Assisting with staff scheduling, Addressing client concerns, Managing a large budget, Rollout of policy/procedure, committee membership, Policy building and creating, assuring the Accreditation standards and the Continuing Care Health Service Standards are adhered to in the area of responsibility. This position works closely with community partners, both contracted and non-contracted to ensure home care clients can remain in their home for as long as possible. This position will be responsible to build and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in all communities they are responsible for. The successful individual will have good time management, excellent communication skills, follows the values AHS has outlined, has above par critical thinking abilities, and be able to work both independently and within a team environment to promote client centered care.
Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree in Health related/Leadership discipline. Current license or active registration from appropriate professional body. 5 years of leadership experience.Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience and knowledge in senior’s health will be an asset.
