TITLE: Director, Product Enablement

The Director of Product Enablement - Majors/Nationals is accountable for execution and delivery of the MAS/NAS product portfolio. This role will lead a team of Release Manager, Release Coordinator, HCM Functional SMEs, Testing and Infrastructure lead and will be responsible for articulating market requirements and delivering, on time and on budget, commercially successful products that delight ADP's customers. The team will also support organizational readiness and launch activities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Leads product enablement MAS/NAS strategy, planning and roadmap definition by aligning market and customer needs with business goals and priorities.
  • Leads the successful delivery of all activities relating to the product release cycle, including pilot, implementation planning and the roll out of products/projects to the field.
  • Acts as the voice of the customer, taking a data driven approach to articulating market needs through direct client interaction, market research and interfacing with Sales, Service and Technology teams.
  • Plans, coordinates, and supervises all activities related to the design, development and implementation of systems, application and software solutions and technologies that support the goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Directs execution of integration efforts leading to the simplification and harmonization of policies & procedures across segments and divisions.
  • Partners with Service, Migrations, Sales, Product and Technology to define strategy and roadmap on general availability of products and services.
  • Communicates strategic importance of a project(s) internally and externally to gain support (funding and buy-in) to ensure success of initiatives and investments.
  • Where appropriate, helps develop strategic partnerships with software/service providers and manages existing relationships with alliances as they relate directly within respective domains.
  • Supports product launch and market-facing support activities.
  • Leads the tracking, monitoring and communication of product release related issues, including problem log prioritization, deviations in release scope, change management.
  • Provides leadership and direction to a diverse team of program managers/leaders.
  • Collaborates across the organization to ensure strong coordination and alignment of product roadmap releases to ensure organizational readiness.
  • Primary liaison between GPT/Product and Business Units.
  • Prepares and presents oral and/or written presentations of project status during the product releases life cycle.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent in education and experience. MBA and/or advanced Technical Degree preferred
  • Demonstrates sound Leadership/business judgment and employs an ability to collaborate and partner successfully with all levels of professionals, backgrounds and perspectives to assist in the delivery of innovative solutions and respond to business priorities.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Change leadership taking an organization through significant transformation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to work under pressure of time constraints and to handle multiple projects simultaneously essential.
  • Problem solver and consensus builder, results oriented with ability to quickly make decisions and take action.
  • 8+ years of experience in a market-facing software and enterprise solutions product management role.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodology an asset.
  • Ability to navigate complex, matrix environments and deliver results through influence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. Must be capable of managing multiple stakeholders on the best course of action for the product.
  • Executive presence with excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally. Ability to implement concepts, ideas and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment. Must be a strong collaborator, team player and individual contributor.
