Acadia seeks a Scholarships & Financial Aid Administrator in Enrolment Services to oversee the administration and disbursement of undergraduate student awards, scholarships and bursaries.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrolment Services the incumbent will be responsible for development of innovative and effective processes for the awarding of need based and merit based assistance in accordance with donor directives and Acadia University policy.
In addition the incumbent will manage efficient, effective and compliant administration of federal and provincial student financial assistance including the US Direct Loan Program.
The incumbent will coordinate special external scholarships and exchange programs for incoming and current students and will develop and deploy financial literacy educational programming.

We are seeking candidates who have an undergraduate degree in Business or Social Sciences with project and financial management experience.
Demonstrated initiative together with excellent planning, communication and organizational skills are required.
Applicants must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with database management is necessary; familiarity with Acadia's Eden-OA and Ellucian's Colleague (Datatel) will be considered an asset.
Familiarity with Acadia's admission requirements, as well as its academic and financial assistance programs, would be an asset.
Acadia offers a comprehensive benefit package in addition to a starting salary of $49,584 per annum (AUPAT Level 5).
