Job Purpose
Reports To Records Manager

The Records Keeper will work directly with the Records Manager. They will be responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of 7ACRES records in accordance with 7ACRES regulatory requirements and record keeping obligations. The Records Keeper will be responsible for ongoing compliance with such obligations, as well as working within the Company to improve record keeping functions and efficacies.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Work with the Records Manager to implement and maintain the Company’s record keeping systems and infrastructure
  • Develop, implement and maintain inventory, storage, cataloguing and other systems in accordance with current records management practices
  • Maintain a complete and current inventory of all departmental records
  • Coordinate and maintain retention schedules
  • Recommend organization, format, classification system and file/records equipment
  • Inventory management software [BioTrackTHC] duties as required, including training (if applicable)
  • Prepare custom reports for departments as required
  • Communicate, train and monitor staff adherence to systemic processes and practices
  • Production Assistant duties, as required
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications
  • High school diploma OR GED equivalent; and/or two years demonstrable PC and data entry experience including advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; OR two years of experience in records retention; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience as SQL database administrator
  • Extensive knowledge in the companies inventory management software [BioTrackTHC]
  • Extensive knowledge in the MMPR/ACMPR
  • Knowledge of the Federal, Provincial and Municipal rules and regulations of records management
  • Extensive knowledge of the methods, techniques and procedures used by the Company in the collection, storage and retention of records and documents
  • Proficient at Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Neat, legible handwriting is a must
