Product Manager At 2U

Location: Brooklyn, New York

Job Description

Summary / Objective – This individual works closely with stakeholders across 2U partners, product and research departments. S/he aggregates that data alongside novel product thinking into product concepts and specifications and works with an Agile engineering team for development and delivery. The Product Manager will serve as the business expert who will leverage his/her understanding of the market and 2U business processes to contribute scalable product into 2U’s product portfolio.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Champion and negotiate product direction.
  • Advise and direct market, competitive product and user research.
  • Consolidate input from business stakeholders and work with engineering and administrative teams to drive outcomes.
  • Build and maintain prioritized product roadmap.
  • Create and communicate vision for specified products across teams and the organization
  • Guide products through the full software development lifecycle in Agile environment
  • Develop, track and report product KPIs

Things that should be in your background:

  • 1-3 years experience directly managing products or in supporting Product Management role.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing roadmaps (at least on an annual cycle basis), understanding of roadmap cycle
  • Higher education / technology and product management background.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and flexible environment with a start-up culture
  • Travel as needed, up to 25%
