The Vice President, Client Service - Experiential Marketing will ensure our clients receive superior service while motivating a team of professionals to achieve sustainable results. Our ideal candidate is a demonstrated leader that understands how to drive strategy, excel in client management, and has a proven success rate of increasing growth and profitability across multiple accounts. As the Vice President, Client Service - Experiential Marketing, our future incumbent will acquire an in-depth understanding of each client’s business needs and deliver creative solutions that enhance performance and achieve goals.

A strong candidate for the Vice President, Client Service - Experiential Marketing in Los Angeles, CA must have 12+ years of extensive event marketing experience, client service acumen, and is a skilled team manager and leader. This self-starter is an organized multitasker, project manager and presenter. Additionally, our desired candidate is a trusted and highly collaborative thought leader that can work cross-functionally with a variety of people and work styles achieving innovative results.

Client Service :

  • Lead contact for clients
  • Create research-driven, strategic experiential programs that meet or exceed client objectives
  • Oversee work team and direct report’s performance
  • Demonstrate advanced communication skills
  • Demonstrate practical and advanced understanding of social media and the digital landscape and how to incorporate these channels into client experiential campaigns
  • Develop strategic experiential marketing plans with quantifiable metrics that meet and exceed client business objectives
  • Evaluate client programs, using both qualitative and quantitative research
  • Ensure work is done according to 160over90 standards and all internal processes are followed, and all client requests are handled in a timely fashion

People Engagement :

  • 12+ years of people management experience
  • Ensure performance expectations, career development plan and goals are set and reviewed annually during formal performance review process for all direct reports
  • Provide ongoing, constructive feedback to staff, consistently hold them accountable, and address under performance in a timely manner
  • Mentor, coach and support all team members, and ensure staff is constantly developing abilities through on-the-job- training and outside influences
  • Help attract new talent and work to build a team with diverse views and backgrounds
  • Develop staff to become capable of assuming more senior roles
  • Set achievable goals and tasks, delegate opportunities and provide resources for direct reports to meet their goals consistently measure and recognize goal achievement
  • Oversee quality control of team’s assignments including program development, proposals, production schedules and onsite execution

Business Development :

  • Develop business growth opportunities among existing client base
  • Coordinate cross-office teams to provide incremental growth across 160over90 disciplines
  • Lead and contribute to new business proposals

Financial Planning:

  • Mastery of core financial constructs including revenue, profitability, pricing structures, budgeting and forecasting
  • Negotiate client contracts and manage client budgeting process prior to beginning work
  • Develop and manage accurate client project budgets and Master Service Agreements
  • Approve time, expenses and Purchase Orders accurately and regularly
  • Ensure work team follows 160over90’s financial policies and processes
