Payroll Administrator At 123Dentist

Location: Coquitlam, British Columbia

Job Description

Job Overview:

To process payroll for multiple locations across 4 jurisdictions (BC, AB, ON, QC) and maintain the accuracy of payroll records.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Payroll Administration:

* Prepares and process payroll in Ceridian's Dayforce Workforce Management system, for approximately over 600+ Canadian hourly and salary employees at multiple locations on a biweekly basis

* Maintains accurate and up-to-date information in payroll and time and attendance database

* Reconcile month end and year end accounts for respective government agencies such as Worksafe BC, Employer Health Tax etc

* Prepare Records of Employment and other government-related forms

* Prepares and remits all government-related requests and payments

* Process new hires, terminations, pay changes, garnishments, and other employment changes

* Assist Regional Managers and employees with payroll related questions

Benefits Administration:

* Process benefits enrolment, terminations, and changes

* Reconcile monthly benefit statements with payroll

* Ensure vacation tracking and other benefits are accurately maintained

Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years of experience with full-cycle Canadian payroll administration

* Experience processing hourly and salaried payroll in multiple locations

* Knowledgeable about CRA regulation and provincial Employment Standards

* Meticulous, accurate and pays attention to details

* Dayforce is an asset

* Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel

* Processing Quebec payroll and speaking French is an asset

* Minimum 2 years of benefits administration

* Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality

* Well-developed communication in both oral and written skills

* Canadian Payroll Association: Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation or in progress for completion
